The LGP Indigenous Procurement Program is in full speed. Our new Prequalification Scheme is now open and inviting indigenous businesses across New South Wales to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI). Additionally, we encourage councils to direct their favourite indigenous businesses to submit an EOI and participate in this opportunity.
For more information, or, if you are an indigenous business that is either Certified by Supply Nation or NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce ‘Assured’, and you are keen to participate in this new scheme (click here). We aim to open this scheme to councils in April, encouraging further engagement between local government and Indigenous business sectors.
LGP is excited to announce we are now a new Corporate Partner with Supply Nation. For the past two years LGP has been working with and supporting the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce. This new membership allows LGP to similarly build a partnership with Supply Nation to help their members create new business relationships in the local government sector. This begins with LGP being invited to join Supply Nation at their Trade Fair in Dubbo on Wednesday 9 April – click here for more details.
Finally, we are preparing our Draft Reconciliation Action to go back to Reconciliation Australia for final review, which will be beautifully designed with our commissioned indigenous artwork by Yirra Miya. Click the link below to see their website.
Under the 2023-2026 LGP Strategic Plan LGP has designed a unique first in local government with our new Disaster Response Solution. We want to bring new value to our councils and their local communities by revolutionising how councils source essential services in an unfolding natural disaster.
