LGP Conference
Each year the LGP Conference gets bigger and better and this year is no exception. The LGP Conference will be held in Sydney on 29th and 30th October and with a theme of Create Ripples, Ride the Wave it is relevant to council staff in any role. Come along for two days of learning, networking, and fun.

Annual Procurement Awards
Each year, at the LGP Conference, we present three awards:
- New Procurement Professional of the Year
- Outstanding Procurement Professional of the Year
- Procurement Project of the Year
This is a great opportunity to have your exceptional work recognised. The winner of each category will receive a plaque and professional development of their choice to the value of $2,500.

Regional Training:
Once again we’re bringing training to the regions. This is a great opportunity for staff in regional NSW to undertake face to face training without having to travel to Sydney. The courses on offer are:
- Procurement and Contracting in Local Government
- Procurement Planning, Specification Development, Tender Evaluation and Contract Awarding
- The Essentials of Project Management
- Advanced Contracting in Local Government.
The cost is $750 per person per day and includes lunch and light refreshments.

Webinar: VendorPanel and LGP Contract Usage
Due to popular demand, we are now running this webinar four times a year. Our next session is on 7th November, 2:00 – 2:45pm and we will cover a range of topics such as:
- Engaging LGP-approved contractors
- Running an RFQ in VendorPanel
- Checking RFQ response activity
- Evaluating and selecting responses
