Emma Murray

Emma Murray is the Director Corporate Services at Local Government Procurement (LGP), where Emma leads and supports the people that deliver the business support, business intelligence, training and marketing and events functions of the business. Emma also supports the Local Government Procurement Board in the capacity of Company Secretary.

Emma has 20+ years’ experience in the local government sector. Emma has been a member of the LGP team since its inception in 2006. Emma has worked with the team to develop LGP as a leading procurement aggregator, creating procurement efficiencies and building procurement expertise within the sector. Prior to this Emma worked at LGNSW the peak industry body working in various roles within the Workplace Solutions, Learning, and Commercial Services business units.

Emma is a qualified Court Reporter and is undertaking her MBA at Swinburne University. In her spare time, Emma loves travelling with her husband and four beautiful children in the family camper van. Her indulgence these days is finding time to lose herself in a good book.
