Local Government Procurement Awards

The Local Government Procurement Awards were launched in 2012 to recognise and celebrate procurement professionals or teams who are making a difference in local government and the community. The Awards recognise excellence and best practice in the field of procurement within the local government sector.

There are five award categories that make up the Local Government Procurement Awards.

Council Procurement Award Categories

  • New Procurement Professional
  • Outstanding Procurement Professional of the Year
  • Sustainable Procurement Achievement

The award recipients receive a personalised plaque and professional development training of the winner’s choice to the value of $2,500.

LGP Approved Contractor of the Year Award

In 2019 LGP introduced the LGP Approved Contractor of the Year Award, to celebrate the diversity of LGP Approved Contractors and recognise excellence in supporting the local government sector.

The recipient receives a personalised plaque and associated branding to promote their achievement.

Foundation LGP Approved Contractor Award

 

In 2020 LGP introduced the Foundation LGP Approved Contractor Award, to acknowledge and recognise the outstanding contribution and innovation of our foundation contractors supporting the local government sector.

The recipient receives a personalised plaque and associated branding to promote their achievement.
