LGP Seeking to Fund Procurement Capability Improvement Projects

LGP is pleased to share that we’re now welcoming applications for the next round of our Procurement Capability Grant Program. The program is designed to support NSW councils and related bodies in delivering projects that result in real improvements to procurement capability.

This round of funding is open to any NSW council, Joint Organisation, Regional Organisation of Councils, Aboriginal Land Council, or County Council. We’re offering grants between $3,000 and $25,000 to eligible projects that demonstrate a clear benefit and need for support.

Whether it’s through process improvement, procurement resource development, technology upgrades, professional development initiatives—or something else entirely—projects must aim to build procurement capability in a meaningful way. We also welcome proposals that align with recommendations from bodies such as the Office of Local Government, the Audit Office of NSW, and ICAC.

Applications open on Thursday, 8 May 2025, and close at 5pm on Thursday, 5 June 2025. All applications must be submitted via eProcure.

For full program details, including eligibility and assessment criteria, visit our Procurement Capability Grant Program page. If you have any questions, please reach out to your LGP Business Development Manager or email [email protected].

We’re looking forward to seeing the innovative ways councils are working to strengthen procurement practices across the state.
