LGP Procurement Capability Grants Program

four-colors-line

The LGP Procurement Capability Grant Program, is the first of its kind in the Australian local government sector and underscores our
commitment to enhancing procurement capability.

In 2024, LGP allocated a remarkable $150,000, building on last year’s success, which saw councils access over $97,000 in funding. This initiative funds new projects and professional development, incentivising impactful advancements in procurement practices across NSW local government.

The Program allows eligible council or organisation to submit proposals for projects ranging from $3,000 to $25,000, focusing on areas such as Process Improvement, Procurement Resource Development, Technology, Professional Development, or other related areas.

We are excited to announce that the LGP Procurement Capability Grant Program 2024 has now officially closed.

This year, we received a fantastic response, surpassing last year’s submissions. This overwhelming response is highly encouraging and gives us confidence to continue the program in the future.

We thank all councils for their submissions and will announce the next steps shortly.

Enquiries related to last minute submission can be made via your LGP Business Development Manager.
