LGP First Nations Procurement Scheme Now Live

LGP is very excited to announce that our First Nations Procurement Scheme is now live in VendorPanel. Through the Scheme, LGP aims to connect NSW council buyers with First Nations enterprises to develop mutually beneficial business relationships.

LGP has long recognised the value of supporting business diversity and is proud to deliver this sector-first solution for our customers. We know that engaging First Nations businesses delivers significant economic and social benefits. First Nations businesses are much more likely to employ First Nations workers, and research from Supply Nation shows that for every dollar spent with First Nations businesses, $4.41 is reinvested back into First Nations communities.

The LGP First Nations Procurement Scheme is now available in VendorPanel under Local Government Procurement Lists.

To support the launch, LGP will host a free webinar on Thursday 12 June, 11:00 – 11:30 am. The session will introduce the Scheme, explain how it works, and highlight the benefits of working with First Nations enterprises. We’ll also demonstrate how to access the Scheme in VendorPanel, including how to browse the available categories and suppliers. The webinar is open to all interested First Nations businesses and council employees.
