Local government procurement professionals can now enrol in the 2026 intake of the PSP40616 Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting, delivered by LG Training Academy (RTO 45450), owned by LGP and supported by LGNSW.
This nationally recognised qualification is designed for both staff new to procurement and experienced practitioners seeking to formalise their skills, apply best practice, and strengthen career progression within the local government sector.

Overview: Provides the occupational-specific competencies needed for those responsible for procuring goods and services. Covers the full range of skills required to operate independently in a procurement and contracting environment.
