The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), in partnership with Local Government Procurement (LGP), has officially launched a new customised training program designed for procurement and waste management professionals involved in managing waste services contracts across local government.
The inaugural session, sponsored by the EPA, was delivered on 5 November 2025 at the LGP office. The session received excellent feedback from participants and saw strong engagement from procurement practitioners who contributed actively throughout the training.
Further sessions in this program will continue to build capability across the sector, supporting improved waste procurement and contract management outcomes for councils across NSW.
