Mark Murphy – LGP Annual Conference 2025

Using Council’s Systems to Monitor & Manage Modern Slavery Risk

We are thrilled to welcome Mark Murphy from Port Stephens Council to this year’s LGP Annual Conference. As a respected member of Port Stephens Council, Mark brings a wealth of experience working across NSW councils and a deep understanding of local government operations. In his session, Case Study: Using Council’s Systems to Monitor & Manage Modern Slavery Risk, he will share practical insights on how councils can leverage their existing systems to identify, track, and mitigate modern slavery risks.

Attendees will benefit from his hands-on knowledge and real-world experience, gaining strategies they can apply in their own councils to enhance transparency, compliance, and ethical procurement practices.
