MEET THE TEAM

Katherine joined the team at Strategic Procurement Solutions in 2022. Katherine is a sustainable procurement professional with a passion for sustainability. She has a strong sense of integrity and a focus on positive outcomes. She believes in working collaboratively with government and industry to address sustainability challenges.

Katherine has extensive knowledge and expertise in corporate sustainability (social, environmental, local economic and governance). With 24 years working in NSW local government, Katherine co-manages our Sustainable Choice program and provides consulting advice on sustainable procurement relating to a wide range of council areas including strategic and assessment planning, utilities, infrastructure development, waste management, tendering, emissions, and community services.

Katherine sees procurement as a vital element in meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and addressing the environmental, social and economic issues affecting communities in NSW and globally.

With a particular interest in sustainability education, supplier diversity, and biodiversity, Katherine can assist with development of policy, strategy, guidelines, and training, and can work with council staff to design solutions to procurement problems.
