Meet the Team – Eleni Skouloudis

Who am I?

Hi all, my name is Eleni and I have just joined the team as one of the Sustainable Procurement Consultants at LGP. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking new recipes, exploring new places, nature photography and making sure that my very needy 6.5yr old chihuahua has all his needs met with treats, walks, treats, belly rubs and incase I didn’t mention it ….  treats!

How do I make a difference at LGP?

As part of the Strategic Procurement Solutions team, I work alongside a great team of consultants to support councils embed social and  sustainable procurement processes into practice. Having over 20 years’ experience in Social Procurement with particular focus on First Nations Engagement and Procurement, Modern Slavery and more recently Net Zero and climate change, I bring the right amount of knowledge and passion and turning the impossible, possible.

I look for opportunities to drive social impact within metropolitan, regional and rural communities. I believe through collaboration, we can foster a community of practice that focusses on innovation, inclusivity that local communities can benefit.  Having worked across major rail, roads and energy infrastructure projects across NSW, I am able to leverage my experience in designing social and sustainable procurement frameworks that influence decision makers to buy locally and responsibly.

What keeps me busy at LGP?

I believe that collaboration is the corner stone to success. I look forward to working alongside councils identify opportunities to embed social and sustainable procurement measures that will positively impact the local communities through responsible sourcing and local engagement. I will be available to deliver bespoke training sessions, support procurement teams embed First Nations, Modern Slavery and Net Zero considerations in sourcing activities and provide governance support.

By collaborating we can empower and enable positive change that will leave a legacy in our communities.
