Mathew Baldwin

Mathew joined the Board in April 2026. Mathew is a Partner at Thomsons and has more than 20 years’ experience advising Commonwealth, state and local government clients on contracting, procurement and major projects. His areas of expertise include procurement governance, probity, commercial and technology contracting, privacy and cybersecurity.

Mathew holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Australian National University and is admitted as a lawyer in Australia and England and Wales. He previously served on the ACT Government's Procurement Board, overseeing high-value procurements and contributing to procurement policy and reform. His broader governance experience includes board and company-secretary roles in the not-for-profit sector.
