Innovation Development Fund
The LGP Innovation Development Fund, in partnership with Telstra, supports technology innovation for NSW councils, ROCs, and JOs. It funds digital transformation to meet community needs through strategic tech adoption and process improvements.
What to know
Applying for Funding
Funding is provided on a co‑investment basis, where the Innovation Development Fund will contribute 50% of the total project value up to $50,000 per project. Resulting in a baseline project value of $100,000, however there is no upper limit on total project value.

Evaluation Criteria
Only NSW councils, Regional Organisations of Councils (ROCs), and Joint Organisations (JOs) will be considered for funding under this fund. Projects must demonstrate community benefit and tech innovation.
