David Reynolds

David was appointed to the Board in 2023. He has worked in local government since 2006, after starting his career in the private sector as a lawyer specialising in employment and industrial law. David is a qualified company director and currently the Chief Executive at LGNSW. 

Before joining LGNSW, David held a number of senior and executive roles across councils in metropolitan Sydney. He has led strategic programs across land use planning, property, infrastructure and transport planning, recreation planning, asset management and special projects of a capital nature, as well as leading strategic corporate and customer services functions at large, dynamic and fast-growing councils. 

David has broad and deep experience across the many functions of the local government sector.
