Upcoming LGP Network Meeting Procurement & Engineering @ Greater Hume – 3rd May 2023

LGP in the month of May is taking one of its networking days to Holbrook, also know as the ‘Submarine Town’. Not only is it famous for its sub, but it is also now the home of the grant funded Holbrook community hub and function area.

At the date of the LGP event ‘Holbrook Sporting complex’ will be just under 12 months old, the inclusion project was made possible by NSW AFL, Riverina Water County Council, Holbrook and Netball Club and the Holbrook Community amongst others.

LGP is pleased to be taking this networking event to the southern region town in NSW as a build up to the main conference in October. We look forward to welcoming neighbouring councils and those from further afield.

Evelyn Arnold General Manager for the host council will open proceedings, leading into a local case study, interview with a council, LGP staff will cover key council topics and Origin will speak all things energy. In addition, we are pleased to be joined by a speaker from the Office of the Anti-Slavery Commissioner who will provide an important update on preparing for upcoming compliance reporting and Lou Stojanovski, Director Lawyer – Keystone Lawyers will cover protecting councils interests in contracts.

The full agenda can be viewed via LGP website under ‘Networking events’ registration can be found in the same area.

We look forward to seeing a wide range of councils with varying roles at this free network event.
