Local Government Procurement

Nationally Accredited Training

four-colors-line

LGP in partnership with the registered training organisations (RTOs) have been offering several nationally accredited courses in Procurement & Contracting and Project Management.

These courses have been specifically customised for the local government sector and are relevant to those who have any involvement in the procurement, contract management or project management.

Venue:  All these courses are delivered at LGP office in Sydney CBD. However, the participants do have the option to attend the courses (fully/partially) remotely via Zoom.

PS: Due to COVID outbreak at any point in time, should the government restrictions be imposed and or borders closed, we will shift to online delivery of these accredited courses without any change in the schedule.

Virtual classroom- Attend online via Zoom

To meet the needs of our regional and rural clients and make training more accessible to them, we introduced the virtual classroom technology as an added facet to LGP training.

Zoom, the online platform that we use allows people from any geographic location, the opportunity to remotely attend (fully/partially) the courses which are conducted at our office in Sydney.  This app is very lightweight on Internet and requires only a computing device with audio and video options. The multimedia options facilitate interactions with the trainer, view trainer’s presentations, ask questions, take part in the discussions, and get access to the other training resources. These happen seamlessly in a real-time environment, giving a physical classroom experience.

This online feature is very apt for the qualifications which run for a longer period of time.  For the participants, this results in not only substantial reduction in the overall training cost since there are no travel and accommodation expenses, it also minimises time spent away from home.

Regional or onsite delivery

These courses can also be delivered in a more cost-effective way in a regional location or onsite. This is available on request and subject to sufficient demand. To register your interest, please click here.
