The National Procurement Network is inviting tenders for the supply of Mobile Garbage Bins (MGBs), Industrial Containers & Bins, Static Compactors, Associated Products & Services to councils across all of NSW, VIC, NT, QLD, SA and TAS.

The National Procurement Network (NPN) is a joint procurement initiative set up in 2005 by the peak Local Government procurement bodies in each state and territory across Australia. The participating members for this tender include: Local Government Procurement Pty Ltd (LGP), Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV), Local Government Association of the Northern Territory Inc (LGANT), Local Buy Pty Ltd (Local Buy), and LGCS Pty Ltd Trading as LGA Procurement (LGAP) and Local Government Association of Tasmania (LGAT) representing Local Government in New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania respectively. There will be one tender process to coordinate the needs of the seven States.

The lead agency for this tender is Local Government Procurement (LGP).

LGP requires the following Deliverables under this Contract:

  • Requirement 1 – MGB’s Products Certified to AS 4123.1-2008
  • Requirement 2 – Supply of MGB’s Commercial sizes
  • Requirement 3 – Industrial Containers, Static Compactors & Lifters
  • Requirement 4 – Supply of Supplementary Bins and Receptacles
  • Requirement 5 – Spare Parts and Accessories for Supplementary Bins
  • Requirement 6 – RFID Technology & Accessories for Waste Collection
  • Requirement 7 – Range of Services (incl. Industrial and other)

If you experience difficulties accessing the website, please call the eProcure helpdesk on 1800 377 628. Note that the Tender documents are expected to be available from Monday 15th May 2023.

Interested parties may pre-register immediately (in which case they will be notified by email as soon as the tender documents become available) or may register and download the documents later. A non-refundable fee of $88 (incl. GST) must be prepaid for the documents. eProcure will accept payment using most of the leading brand credit cards.
