Aisha Ahmed

Aisha joins Local Government Procurement (LGP) as a Business Development Manager for the NSW Western Region.

She has over 10 years’ experience in relationship management, project management, contract management, financial statement audit and procurement in the private and Local Government sector.

Within local Government Aisha’s key accomplishments have been successfully training both internal and external stakeholders about Procurement policies, regulations and legislation, creating and executing procurement strategies for projects, writing robust tender specifications accompanied with a selection criteria which results in positive outcomes and managing the end to end tender process.

Aisha’s key strengths are, applying an analytical lens to her work which results in streamlining processes to improve and create efficiency for teams and business, protecting and growing relationships, achieving outcomes in a sustainable and honest manner. She values working as a team, care, honesty and always having a go.

Prior to joining LGP, Aisha worked at City of Parramatta as a Procurement Advisor where she gained her vast public sector procurement experience. Prior to that she was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc) as an Account Manager for one of Australia’s largest Bank. She has a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and an MBA (Management).
