Michael joins Local Government Procurement (LGP) as a Business Manager in procurement consulting and business collaboration for the NSW Southern Region. He has over 10 years’ experience in tenders, contracts, project management, business analysis and strategic planning in both public and private sectors.
Prior to joining LGP, Michael was a senior procurement and contracts personnel at Randwick City Council and Cumberland Council, where he led a diverse procurement activities and contracts establishment. He was also involved in streamlining procurement processes and updating documentation for both councils. He is proficient with the Local Government Act and Regulations regarding tendering and contracts.
Previous to local government, Michael held various positions as Tenders & Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Coordinator, Team Leader Corporate Sales, Sales Manager and Customer Service Manager in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals (hospital & retail), medical products & equipment, aviation and retail.
Michael holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree in Business Management, with further studies in contract law, contract management, project management and property management (Operations).
