Introducing Suska Timney

Who am I?

I am a UK expat living in Australia for just over 15 years after backpacking in the late 90’s and falling in love with this amazing country. My husband and I have a fur baby who is moving into his senior years now, and so those long walks are getting shorter ☹. Although only taken up over the last 10 years, I LOVE skiing and try to go each year – NZ is already lined up for August! I also love playing and watching tennis, eating out and wine tasting. Despite growing up in the UK, I didn’t take advantage of Europe being on my doorstep and so every time I go back to the UK now to see family and friends, I’m taking the opportunity to explore new countries.

How do I make a difference at LGP?

  • I am passionate about working with our stakeholders to implement efficiencies across the business.
  • I empower and support all staff to enable optimised productivity.
  • I encourage and support the ongoing growth of team members across the business.

What keeps me busy at LGP?

As part of the leadership team, I am responsible for owning IT service management processes, including supporting ICT project delivery of continued automation and improvement to the business’ technology, the day-to-day management of 3rd party suppliers, as well as the leadership and co-ordination of in-house teams supporting business-as-usual ICT services.
