Introducing Paul Youdell

Who am I?

I’m the first Australian born of my family, who all hail from around the beautiful Lake District area in the UK.

My Dad was an electrical engineer who was asked to set up a branch of his then company in Sydney, which explains my constant curiosity for how things work (& also how I got here.)

Since I was a kid, I have been fascinated by music, some would say obsessed, constantly negotiating with my parents for vinyl, cassettes & CDs in lieu of Easter Eggs, or anything else I could bargain with for more new tunes.

I’m a huge fan of Japanese food, terrible reality TV, languages & all things creative. These days, when not at work I’m usually out walking our dog with my wife Lilli, strolling around a market drinking coffee or buying records.

What keeps me busy at LGP?
  • answer enquiries from councils (with the help of 3 excellent BDMs)
  • educate councils on how to best use our services, I try making interactions with LGP (especially VendorPanel) as easy as possible
  • provide great customer service
  • streamline communications where possible by thinking “what’s next?”
How do I make a difference at LGP?

I’m often the first point of contact for enquiries that come through the business, so I am busy always learning more. As both a creative & professional person the scope of tasks & projects I am involved with is extremely broad. These include in-office work, training, council visits, project teams, helping out at LGP webinars & events, to curating our in-house video mood boards. Always happy to help.

Please connect with me with via LinkedIn or via email.
