Introducing Andrea Hammond

Who am I?

I was born and raised in Sydney and my background is German, Greek, English and Irish.

I share my home with my husband – Elliott, our exotic shorthair (squish face) cat – Gypsy, three goldfish and a grasshopper.

Living in Potts Point for the last couple of years has deepened my love for Sydney.  My Favorite spots include Bistro 916, the Potts Point Galleries, Beare Park and the Old Fitz.

I love a picnic or a walk around Elizabeth Bay, Woolloomooloo and the Sydney Botanic Gardens.

In my spare time I’m usually cooking, checking out a new restaurant, watching a crime series, or catching some live music.  I love food, travel and to spend time with my family and friends.

This photo was taken on my birthday after a show at The Opera House.

What keeps me busy at LGP?

I enjoy helping others.  I’m all about good customer service and being thorough and detailed in my work gives me a lot of job satisfaction.

My work environment and colleagues inspire me to put my best foot forward in any projects I’m involved in.

How do I make a difference at LGP?

As the Office Coordinator at LGP I’m usually working on a variety of projects. I look after the LGP office and support the Corporate Services Team, Sustainability Committee, Conference Committee and Social committee.

I’m responsible for internal and external enquires, website registrations, internal contract management and maintaining some of our databases.  I help with onboarding and offboarding staff; assist the marketing and HR teams, coordinate travel, accommodation, catering and courier bookings as well as facilities management and much much more!
