On the 18th and 19th of October LGP welcomed well over 250 delegates, sponsors and exhibitors to our Annual Conference once again.
Gathering under the theme of 2030 – How will you Measure Up we had a terrific 2 days of speakers, networking, workshopping, procurement awards and entertainment.
One of the highlights of our annual conference is to recognise excellence in procurement.

• 2022 Outstanding Procurement Professional of the Year Award is Carly Cembala from Singleton Shire Council.
• 2022 Sustainable Procurement Award is The Popondetta to Whalan cycle path project: “An innovative use of plastic bags” by Blacktown City Council.
• 2022 New Procurement Professional of the Year Award is Denise Jones – Leeton Shire Council.
• 2022 LGP Supplier of the Year Award is Blackwoods.
We sincerely thank all those involved in making this event a spectacular success, in particular all the amazing LGP staff who worked hard to deliver this key event for us once again. While I am on staff, at our awards dinner, in front of over 250 people we take the opportunity to recognise and celebrate staff service at LGP. The following people were recognised for their commitment and loyalty to our business.

Recently we were very pleased to advise participating councils, ROCs and JOs of their FY22 LGP Rebate payments. LGP distributed over $850,000. Since inception this rebate scheme has invested over $9.8m into the NSW local government sector, $7.6m has been delivered in past 6 years.
