Webinar – Be a Net Zero Superhero!
Many local councils across NSW have adopted net zero emissions targets to do their part to combat climate change.
Shoalhaven City Council included the target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 in their adopted Sustainable Energy Policy. They are now working through priority initiatives from their Sustainable Energy Strategy to slash emissions and transition to renewable energy.
Shoalhaven Council’s Revolving Energy Fund, electric vehicles, solar PV installations, LED street lighting upgrade and renewable Power Purchase Agreement will all be discussed in the webinar. Innovative projects including council’s bushfire Recovery into Resilience initiative
(think solar and batteries on 22 community halls), and partnership projects such as the Kioloa microgrid/community battery and the South Nowra Community Solar Farm, will also be revealed.
Local Government Procurement (LGP) invites you to this webinar presentation to hear about some of Shoalhaven City Council’s projects and initiatives they have and are undertaking to achieve this target.
