Welcome to the Local Government Indigenous Procurement Pre-Qualification Scheme (IPPQS)
Local Government Indigenous Procurement Pre-Qualification Scheme (IPPQS), is a safe space for NSW councils to identify, access and engage with pre-qualified Indigenous businesses. This initiative reflects a strategic effort to promote economic inclusion, foster partnerships, and support the growth of Indigenous enterprises while simplifying the procurement process for councils.
Key Characteristics of the Local Government Indigenous Procurement Pre-Qualification Scheme
- This is a pre-qualified list of Indigenous businesses who have not been through a tender.
- LGP has applied a maximum engagement limit of $249,999 (including GST). Councils must apply their procurement policy and delegations of authority when buying under this arrangement.
- LGP has conducted high level due diligence on all approved participating Indigenous businesses, validating business credentials and insurances.
- All approved participating Indigenous businesses are on LGP’s VendorPanel site and are ready to receive Request For Quotations.
- All participating Indigenous businesses are either Supply Nation Certified or an Assured Business or Enterprise with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce.
- Councils given customised Indigenous Procurement Dashboards.
100% of all revenue generated will be invested back into selected Indigenous community programs.
